Today, a league runs on a WhatsApp group, a spreadsheet and a folder of paper match sheets.
The organiser copies results off paper sheets, redoes the fixtures when it rains and answers the same message twenty times.
The captain acts as the team's bank, chases whoever hasn't paid and hunts for a sub at ten on Saturday night.
The player has no idea how many goals they've scored or how the team is doing until someone posts a photo of the table.
One app for everyone in the league
Everyone sees their part. The organising happens on the web; the rest of matchday, on the phone.
Set up the season in an afternoon
- Paste the list of teams, one per line, and generate single or double round-robin fixtures.
- Postpone a match or call it off for rain and everyone gets a notice with the change.
- Track each team's fees: paid, partly paid, pending or overdue.
- Hand out roles: referees, delegates and captains, each with their own code.
The match sheet, on the phone, pitchside
- Big 60 px buttons to log goals, cards and subs without looking twice.
- Team, player and minute: three taps and the event is logged.
- When the sheet is closed, each captain can sign off on the same phone.
- If a team doesn't show up or the match is abandoned, you sort it out without paper.
Less admin, more football
- A squad call with each player's "I'm in" and the minimum the sport needs.
- Short of players? Look in your league's player pool.
- A list of who in the squad has paid each fee.
- Accept requests from new players to join the team.
Your numbers, like a pro
- Goals, appearances, MVPs and badges that level up season after season.
- Standings, top scorers and fixtures, always up to date.
- Notices when the kick-off time or pitch changes, or the match is postponed.
- Join the player pool to play for other teams when they're short.
The league, on the web too
Every league gets its own public page: anyone can see how the season is going without downloading anything or creating an account.
- Standings, fixtures, results and top scorers, updated with every closed match sheet.
- A page per team with its squad, its matches and its home ground.
- “Add to my calendar”: matches show up on your phone and update themselves if the time changes.
- You choose how players appear: first name and surname initial, full name or no names.
- The same address as the registration page, ready to share on WhatsApp or social media.
Included in the subscription at no extra cost. Turn it on from Settings › Public site.
An API for your club's website
Want the standings or results on your own website, an app or a screen at the sports hall? Derbi's read-only API gives you the same data as JSON: league, standings, matches, top scorers and teams, with your own key.
10,000 calls a month free; then €0.50 per 1,000.
GET /client-api/v1/leagues/lliga-de-sants Authorization: Bearer •••••••• { "league": { "name": "Lliga de Sants", "currentRound": 8 }, "standings": [ { "pos": 1, "teamId": "ce-sants", "played": 7, "points": 19 }, … ], "matches": [ … ], "scorers": [ … ] }
Every sport with its own rules
The scoreboard, periods, match sheet and standings adapt to the sport. It's not a football app with basketball bolted on.
Why not just use what you already have
Management tools forget about the player, and pick-up game apps don't know what a league is. Derbi brings the two together.
Comparison by type of tool, based on the features they advertise and public App Store reviews (October 2026).
A price you can explain in one line
You pay once a year for the teams you have. No tiers, no lock-in and no fees for players.
- The first round of any league is free: try it with real matches.
- Add teams mid-season and you only pay for the part that's left.
- The league's public site is included. The API for third-party websites and apps is priced on request.
- A league never stops mid-round over a billing issue.
- Players, captains and referees use the app for free.

Questions
Who pays for Derbi?
Only the league organiser, on the web. Players, captains and referees use the app for free.
What if the referee has no phone or there's no signal?
A delegate or a captain can fill in the match sheet too. If needed, it's done on paper and the organiser enters the result on the web.
Can I run several leagues or groups?
Yes. Each league has its own fixtures, roles and code. You manage them all from the same account.
Can people without the app follow the league?
Yes. The public site shows standings, fixtures, results and top scorers to anyone, and the fixtures can be added to a phone calendar. It's included in the subscription.
Can I show the standings on my club's website?
Yes, with the read-only API: we give you a key and you get the league's data as JSON to show wherever you like. The price depends on usage; write to us and we'll sort it out.
Which languages does it support?
Catalan, Spanish and English, in the app and on the web.
What happens to the data if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. The league becomes read-only for the organisers, and matches in progress can still be finished.
Can I collect fees through Derbi?
For now Derbi tracks who has paid each fee (bank transfer, Bizum, cash). Online payments will come later.
Next matchday,on Derbi.
Create the league on your computer and share the code with the teams. The first round is on us.
